SUMMARY:
This position is a 6-week training program at the end of the program candidate will move into a Knitter position which consist of keeping assigned line running efficiently and effectively by ensuring yarn is properly threaded, inspecting socks, maintaining/cleaning machinery.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Minimal physical demands, such as occasional bending, stooping, frequent walking/standing. Frequently requires hand-eye coordination for threading machinery using tweezers. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and good balance for use of step stool. Consistent daily attendance required.
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. Ability to move between departments to interact with others. Consistent daily attendance required; occasional off-shift support and limited travel required.
