Ever imagine a Sweetgreen or Chipotle for charcuterie boards? Well it’s here! Kured is the first quick-service charcuterie concept based out of Boston and is we just opened our first store in NYC! Our storefront is located in Greenwich Village, right in the heart of NYU and steps from Washington Square Park. Kured's goal is to make charcuterie more accessible, by blending the culture of European slow food and the convenience of quick-service, in the charcuterie category.
Kured is looking for a team of charcuterie / hospitality team members to help us build our brand here in NYC, and bring our vision to life!
Responsibilities:
- Artistically creating and curating charcuterie boxes and charcuterie cups for walk-in and delivery customers
- Supporting the prep cook by re-filling and re-stocking pans on the line with freshly prepped product
- Helping to fulfill large volume catering orders as needed
- Re-stocking, organizing and beautifying our retail section
- Crafting thoughtful and personalized experiences for our guests from greeting them, educating them on our products, artistically building their charcuterie boxes on the line, and ending their experience at the register
- Maintain cleanliness of front line, dish pit, and back prep area
- Set up, maintain and break down front line
- Receive and unpack wholesale orders on delivery days
- Operate POS register to complete customer transactions
- Be role model for the standards consistent with Kured’s core values and culture: openness, empowering authenticity, facilitating conversation, supporting artists
Requirements:
- A passion for cooking or food with a keen eye for freshness, quality and cleanliness
- A minimum of 12 month experience successfully working in a fast-paced kitchen or "polished" food shop
- A team player with a can-do attitude
- A knack for delivering personable customer service
- Quick and adaptable learner

- Honesty, transparency, participation, and commitment to growing both yourself and those around you
Hours & Salary:
- 10-20 hours per week, with the ability to transition into full time in the next 1-2 months
- $18-$22+ per hour (base of $15 + tips - ***note: tips have never been below an extra $5/hour tip rate since opening in December)
- Raise of $1 after 6 months
- Ability to go full-time if wanted and extend to health care eligibility
