Candidates must possess superior communication and interpersonal skill, have a flexible and positive attitude, and value punctuality and reliability. The ideal candidate should be able to multitask with a smile and be interested in all things food & wine.
- 2+ years experience at a high volume restaurant in NYC.
- OpenTable or any current reservation system knowledge
Job requirements include (but are not limited to): using opentable, setting up the floor plan for the shift, seating guests, multi line phone calls, booking reservations, cleaning and stuffing menus, taking to go orders, etc. Must be able effectively handle busy shifts. Leading a busy host team (and floor team) by setting friendly service standards. Applicants should: -Have a strong presence. -Act professional and calm under pressure. -Be able to answer and manage multiple phone lines.
We are open for lunch, and dinner service, Candidates should have open availability. This is a full time position.
- Range $20.00-$25.00 an hour (Based on experience)
