About the role:
We are recruiting for the position of Retail Sales Manager for our new NYC Gift Shop located in the heart of Chelsea. Think Hybebeast meets Art Collectibles. We are looking for someone who is in tune with the rare vinyl collectible market and hype culture. Follows the market trends on StockX, NTWRK and others. In addition to collectables, we offer a world-class selection of art books and an unbelievable collection of limited edition prints by some of the best known contemporary and street artists.

The ideal candidate will be an ambitious self-starter with proven sales and sales management experience as well as visual merchandising experience in this space.

You have an awareness and understanding of the trends of the marketplace and it’s changing dynamics. Demonstrating a passion and pulse for the hype culture.

Key Responsibilities:
The Retail Sales Manager plays a key role in supporting the sales team through the implementation of directives from the Director while also maintaining excellence and consistency in their own sales.

Preferred Qualifications and Attributes:
· Familiarity of with Stock X, Hypebeast, Artspace etc.
· Visual Merchandising Experience
· Luxury Sales, Fine Art preferred
· Arts education is a plus
· CRM management
· Previous experience managing sales teams
· Demonstrated ability to motivate and hit or exceed sales goals

Responsible for:
· Contributing to sales goal
· Gallery Maintenance
· Daily Sales/Weekly Reporting to Director
· Gift Shop and Merchandising
· Event Support
· Community Building, Reviews, and Key Relationships
· Excellent customer service and retention
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year + bonus and commissions.
