Position Summary
The IT Services Administrator is motivated to use their technological skills to improve our IT service level, by providing IT support for critical information systems and assets, leading projects, building solutions, implementing new software and hardware, and providing training. Responsibilities

Provide Tier 1&2 help desk support to end users to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly and efficiently.

Open Tickets with Managed Service Provider on the user's behalf

Maintain essential IT operations, including operating systems, network, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware.

Lead projects, solutions, and key responsibilities within a larger business initiative.

Partner with internal and external partners to communicate project status, activities, and achievements.

Work closely with members of the IT team to troubleshoot systems issues, as well as respond to potential cyber threats.

Support cloud systems and applications, such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, Exchange Online, Teams, Share Point, OneDrive, etc.

Support business systems and applications such as ERP, HRMS, Shop Floor systems, customer service, CRM (Sales Force), etc.

Install and configure hardware and software components for Servers and PCs.

Anti-Virus and Windows systems support to ensure end-user PCs are updated and protected / Review and respond to antivirus and anti-malware incidents, as well as suspicious emails.

End user computer imaging and configuration.

Support and manage conference room AV and communications equipment.

Mobile device support - handheld scanners, tablets, smartphones, etc.

Document procedures and help create user guides.

Ability to work both independently and in a team environment as needed.

Ability to multi-task in a dynamic work environment.

Occasional after-hours and weekend work.

Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
-
Associate or Bachelor's degree in computer sciences or equivalent required.

At least 5-10 years of experience in an information technology role
Knowledge, Experience & Skills
-
5+ years of experience in an advanced Help Desk role.

Experience with end-user support, Help Desk systems, software installation, operating systems; current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, system performance-monitoring tools, active directory, virtualization, and more.

Strong understanding of Active Directory and Group Policy.

Experience troubleshooting PCs, servers, and network hardware.

Proficiency with Microsoft Windows operating systems, both end user and server OS.

Familiar with Microsoft Office applications, including Office 365 applications and SharePoint.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
